Americana by Offspring
Whatever the case, the band's fourth record, replaces angst and rage with energy and sarcasm, but Punk's not dead, it just twitched! Our favorites songs are "pretty fly(for a white guy)" and "why don't you get a job"!! We think this is a great cd.
Ricky Martin by Ricky Martin
Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin's self-titled first English-language album is a triumph of an omnivorous world-pop sensibility--but more important is that at its best, it's a real kick. There are songs to accomadate any mood. His beats are fresh and alive, and his ballads are so heart warming.
Fanmail [EXPLICIT LYRICS] by TLC
These girls real tell how they feel. This CD is so cool. We love the song "No Scrubs." Until now we never have heard them explore so many different sounds and tones in their music. Not many groups attempt this, but TLC had the guts to and it sounds great!
Calafornication by Red Hot Chilli Peppers
The Chilli's have been quiet for four years and nobody really knew the status of this cult hit phenomenon who have done everything from Beavis and Butthead, having their songs slaughtered by The All Saints to having their arses kicked by Keanu Reeves.
We can forgive Nick Nolte because he is both hard and cool but Keanu? 'Calafornication' is their most eagerly anticipated album to date due to the wait and with all the influences on the rock/metal genre, to see how they have changed if at all. John Frusciante is back and they are doing all the festivals so this summer should rock.
Promises by Def Leppard
For those who associate Def Leppard with tight leathers and long perms, a lot has changed. The sound is still classic Leppard - rock with a smooth edge yet hard enough to have their name badges sewn on the back of biker's jackets. Their seems to be a revival of classic 80's rock bands at the moment, getting the cue from the massive popularity of the latest metal craze - Skate Metal.
The market has opened up and although it is a very young and progressive market, the old favorites are still getting recognition from the young ears that have never sampled them before.
Enema Of The State by Blink 182
The songs are more dynamic and multitempoed than those on Dude Ranch, sounding like a cross between the Descendents and Fountains of Wayne. And unlike the glut of alt-rock releases that offer one or two memorable songs, Enema is flush with instantly memorable melodies and ear-pleasing harmonies. Good, dirty fun--no more, no less.
The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill
The Miseducation of Lauren Hill is an amazing album that transends the mundane music of today resulting in sounds that appeal to the soul. She delivers a message that inspires people regardless of race, age, or creed. This album is an amazing thing to own.
The Globe Sessions by Sheryl Crow
To celebrate the latest tour of award winning artist Sheryl Crow, her classic album 'The Globe Sessions' is being re-released with a bonus disc containing six live tracks. This re-release is limited so don't hang on too long to secure your order.
