The Tao of Steve
Dex and his friends have twisted the philosophies of Lao-tzu, Heidegger and Groucho Marx into a foolproof theory of dating, The Tao of Steve, which provides rule-by-rule guidelines for how to transform ordinary Joes into charismatic Steve McQueens. Back in college, Dex was the big man on campus. But we meet Dex ten years after graduation as he endures one of life's great humbling experiences; the college reunion. Now an overweight kindergarten teacher, Dex is immune to the shocked stares of the young women who were once his conquests. While trying to pick up a student bartender, Dex is struck by another woman, the gorgeous Syd, who rides motorcycles and designs sets for the Santa Fe Opera. Through a series of circumstances, Syd and Dex are thrown together and he soon finds himself questioning his belief in all things Steve. As Dex falls in love with her, Sy appears immune to his charms and with good reason.

Disney's The Kid
If you had the chance to meet yourself as an 8-year-old child, would that kid be happy with who you turned out to be? In Russ Duritz's case, the answer is a resounding "No!" Russ somehow finds his life as a successful "image consultant" turned upside down when he magically meets Rusty-himself as an 8-year-old child. Rusty is a sweet, but slightly geeky, pudgy little kid who is not at all happy with who he turns out to be --a 40-year-old "loser" without a wife or a dog. Ironically, the kid helps Russ to learn about himself and remember his dreams, in order to become the grown-up he wants to be.
Starring Bruce Willis, Emily Mortimer, Spencer Breslin, Jean Smart, Jeri Ryan. Directed Jon Turteltaub.
Big Momma's House
FBI agent Malcolm Turner is tough, smart, and a master of disguise. There's nothing he can't handle. Stop a brutal crime ring? No problem. Malcolm transforms himself into an aged Asian man to crack the case. Malcolm's latest assignment brings him to a small southern town, where he's determined to trap a brutal bank robber (and a recent prison escapee). Malcolm sets up a stakeout across from the home of a southern matriarch known as Big Momma, who's about to be visited by the con's former flame, Sherry, and her son. It's a simple plan, but there's one Big Problem: Big Momma has unexpectedly left town. So Malcolm, taking on his most challenging "role" ever, decided to impersonate the cantankerous Southern granny. Using a few tricks of disguise, he completely transforms himself into Big Momma, even taking on the corpulent septuagenarian's everyday routine-from cooking soul food to delivering babies to "testifying" at the local church. As if things weren't complicated enough, Malcolm finds himself falling for Sherry, who might be hiding some stolen cash. Now, Malcolm/Big Momma must somehow find a way to get his man - and woman.
